We rumble

I think of myself as a mind.
I feel with the rhythm of my heart.
But I am a gastric organ.

I seek answers and moreso questions.
I want to be loved and moreso to love.
I’ll have a sandwich.

I live in this world to better this world.
I believe in you so much.
Give me half your bread.

We have to tackle global issues.
Access and inclusion make everything better.
I’d rather put this money in my kids’ college fund.

Law and order!
Kindness and virtue?
Food.

We want to be brains.
We wish to be hearts.
We are stomachs with high hopes.
